19-year-old Vanessa Asantewaa Ohemeng over the weekend was crowned winner of the 2017 Miss Legon pageantry show which happened at Central Cafeteria of The University Of Ghana.
Miss Legon is one if the oldest student pageantry shows in Ghana but the event has suffered some setback in recent years until its revival.
Vanessa Ohemeng is a Psychology, Public Administration and Chinese student in level 100 and she will enjoy an all expenses paid one week trip to Dubai as part of her winning package. She was also awarded Ghc 2,5000 cash prize and a laptop.
20-year-old Benedicta Naa Ayele Tetteh in her second year studies of Public Administration in the University, emerged as the 1st Runner Up with a cash prize of Gh1,000 and souvenirs from sponsors. Naa was also adjudged Miss Talent of the night.
21-year-old Rafiatu Fuseini was given a cash prize of Gh500 with other souvenirs as the 2nd Runner Up. Rafiatu is an Agric-Science student in 3rd year.
Elikem Kumordzi and Miss Malaika 2013 – Naa Oye Quartey were among the Judges of the Legon Pageantry Show Night which saw AMG Rapper, Medikal as a Guest Act.
