Black Stars striker Abdul Majeed Warris over the weekend got married to Habiba Sinare.
His long time girlfriend, the pair carried out the requisite Islamic rites during a ceremony at Pig-Farm held in proxy, as Warris was in France playing for his Ligue 1 side Lorient.
Habiba, 20, is the daughter of Alhaji Saneed Sinare, who is Ghana’s former Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. She’s also the niece of Kalsoume Sinare.
The newly married bride is expected to leave Ghana for France to join her new husband.

Warris, 25, has been capped 25 times by the Black Stars, having scored four goals.
