The VGMAs unsung category suggestively as it means is a platform given to young emerging talented music acts whose songs and growing personality have sort of been underrated and unpopular. The winner then gets to perform on the night of the VGMAs for exposure and that’s all.

Nero X, Dark Suburb and Adomaa are some artistes that ever won that category and this year Kuami Eugene has just been announced as the winner.

Kuami Eugene is a signed act to Richie’s Lynx Entertainment and he had a soft competition from Cina Soul, Doen Boakye, eShun, AJ Lyricx, CJ Biggerman and Afexi Perry. The Lynx Entertainment apparatus behind Kuami Eugene explains why the act took a comfortable lead and maintained it. The team worked enough to showcase Kuami Eugene’s talent with his songs being released prior to the VGMAs season.
