My adorable wife, Mrs Elsie-Anthony Williams whose legal name will soon become Elsie Agyapong Febiri after all the paper works have been done by the end of the month is naturally gorgeous—and let me add that, she is also super intelligent, simple and progressively liberal.
The above explains why I doubled the bride price which was requested, per the marriage list that was given to me. The Anthony-Williams’ family did not just give me a woman; they gave me a wonderful wife who I wouldn’t hesitate to marry again if we meet in a parallel universe.

As usual, we the Traditional Wedding, which many wrongly call the Engagement was held first—and it was strictly a family affair.
Though I am not a “culturalist” because of the non-progressive nature of our the African culture, we still had to adhere to certain traditions and customs, including, performing the traditional marriage rites in the woman’s father’s house—and indoors, away from uninvited eyes.
I just said a bulk part of our African culture remains unnecessarily stagnant, perhaps even obsolete, but Ghanaian Avant-garde Ghanaian Fashion Zita ‘Anasimba’ magically took our Ghanaian traditional Kente cloth, a cultural garment and produced a stunning contemporary dress for my wife.
And I whispered to her when the “plenty talks” were over and she was allowed to sit by my side as my wife—that, “you look breathlessly beautiful.” I can confidently say, this is not a subjective deduction—any reasonable person who saw her on that day or will see these photos today will come to the same conclusion.
Zita ‘Anasimba’ has set up a world-class fashion design hub at one of the posh suburbs of Accra-West Legon and a Gold Closet at East Legon, creating most of the flawless high-end celebrity and wedding wears around.
Many of the beautiful trending wedding gowns and dresses—elevating ordinary Ghanaian brides to stunning high-end celebrity status are the end product of Zita’s revolutionary touch.
I couldn’t find anyone better placed for my wife’s big day, than Zita–and you can attest to her brilliance from the below photos.
The beauty of the Zita ‘Anasimba’ brand is this: you can totally solicit her creative brilliance for whatever outfit you seek or you can fall on her combined approach—where you outline your wants, which she then perfects with her creative excellence, resulting in a unique style.
From the ‘drawing book’ to the fitting stage, ‘Zita’ Anasimba guides and ensures that your style, even if inspired by that of another does not totally get lost—there is always that sense of individual personality behind each outfit bearing the ‘Anasimba’ brand mark.
My wife is beautiful (I know that) but a bad dress could have ruined her traditional wedding day by stealing her joy and impairing her beauty.
I met Zita a few days to our wedding at her working studio in Accra and from our conversation, I knew my wife was going to slay it.
And in fact, she did…When it comes to “Anasimba’ by Zita, there’s no excuse to look tacky anymore!
No wonder the big trendsetters such as Dorcas Adissi Anokye (wife of Bola Ray), Lydia Forson, Ahoufe Patricia, Nana Akua Addo, Selly Galley, Victoria Michaels and the others rock are the handiwork of ‘Anasimba’ by Zita.
