I believe whenever a thief is caught, it’s never his first time–but he will mostly likely claim it to be.
The week started with Shatta Wale’s appearance at a United States’ strip club, spanking the asses of strippers and splashing money on them.
And it ended with Rev Josh Laryea, who has been suspended by ICGC–after an immoral conduct allegation was erected against him.
A letter dated March 29, 2017, issued by The Church Council which GhanaCelebrities.Com has seen a copy states among other things that, “The Presbytery has authorised the Disciplinary Committee to look into the allegations levelled against Rev. Laryea”.
It also adds that “Rev. Josh Laryea is being withdrawn from the pulpit and thereby the Doxa Temple with immediate effect. This is to allow the Committee carry out its work uninterrupted.”

Per the statement, a new pastor will be assigned to the Doxa Temple and it urged Rev Laryea to fully co-operate with the leadership of the church in the investigation.
What was a mystery was what the IMMORAL ACT allegation which has led to Rev Laryea’s suspension is about–and GhanaCelebrities.Com was yesterday told by a source who claimed to be in the known that, it was to do with s*x with a WOMAN. And this woman is not his wife, Vivian.
Following the above revelation, Afia Schwarzenegger wrote on Instagram that, “At long last your cup is full…you molested someone i know and made her not to believe in christianity …God truly answers….you see your life??”
From her message, our smart social media analyst team deducted that, Afia was referring to Mzbel–as there have been rumours that Mzbel quit ICGC because of Josh Laryea, the pastor who officiated the naming ceremony of her son, Aaron at ICGC.
Mzbel herself came out to sort of confirm Afia’s statement, with a Facebook post–commenting on Rev Josh Laryea’s suspension.
She wrote: “Eugene Zuta and Edem, u guys owe me an apology! As for Mrs Awo Zuta aka Tse Ataa’s favourite pet, the least said the better… and to those of u who judged and condemned me after I quit the church, go find the biggest Rock and bring it to me!!! There is a God! #Vindicated #Mercy”
Now, several Ghanaians on social media have commented on the issue–with many ((screenshots below) implying with their comments that, Rev. Josh Laryea has for long been chopping down women, even from his days at Central University College.
From Mzbel’s account and the social media comments, it does seem like Rev Laryea has a reputation in this department–something the church must have gotten tired of, to take such a drastic action against him.
