Last night, part of Coconut Groove Regency Hotel in Accra, owned by Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom caught fire–and photos which have emerged on social media show the damage is huge.

According to a statement from Nduom Groupe, “staff of Amansan Television (ATV) noticed fire burning apparently from the direction of an air conditioning unit in their studio” which seems to have been the cause of the fire.

The same building houses GN Bank and ATV, also owned by Nduom. The hotel is located behind the Ghana Immigration Service Headquarters in Accra.
