Nana Addo Is An Indecisive President – Alhassan Suhiyini

Alhassan Suhuyini

Tamale North MP, Alhassan Suhuyini has labeled President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as an indecisive President who can’t sustain pressure to make tough decisions.

Alhaji Suhiyini lamented that Nana Addo has demonstrated this trait throughout his 100 days in office and cited that if the President is a strong decisive leader, he wouldn’t have succumbed to the pressure and calls from his Party folks to make certain people Ministers which resulted in his Elephant size Government.

According to Hon. Suhuyini who was speaking on Metro TV’s “Good Morning Ghana” Nana Addo by now has tasted what being a President is like and by now he will understand why Mahama said those who have not been President before should take a chill pill on his criticism.

Suhuyini with Kwaku Baako were discussing the reason for the President’s delay in setting up an Advisory Cabinet Body which the Constitution has made Mandatory to every Government. Though Kwaku Baako argued the constitution hasn’t given a time frame and the President has done nothing wrong with his delay of setting up his Cabinet, Suhiyini simply stated that it’s just because the President is indecisive of the people to appoint to form his Cabinet. He wondered “if the Constitution says the Cabinet shall advise the President on policies and for four months now Nana Addo has not formed a Cabinet, then how is he running the country ?”

Suhuyini summed up his critique that the tough decisions Nana Addo can’t make are exactly those Mahama took and he was penalized for it.
