Gambian President Adama Barrow met the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the flagstaff house earlier today.
The meeting was to deepen bilateral relations between the two nations which has recently been strengthened.
Ghana was one of the leaders in solving the the Gambian election crisis, which hit the tiny West African nation after former President Yahya Jammeh refused to step down after losing elections to Mr Barrow.
Former President Mahama and his predecessor, Nana Akufo-Addo, both took strong stances on the issue and played a leading role in the ECOWAS effort to get Jammeh out of power and Barrow installed.
