Head Pastor of the Synangogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B Joshua, has announced that he’s moving his church to Israel.
The bombshell announcement, made in church last Sunday, is due to ‘persecution’ he’s receiving in his homeland, the self styled prophet said.
He recently returned from a ‘pilgrimage’ to Israel, which helped him make the decision.
Joshua said he had been offered land in an area in Jerusalem around the site of the Sea of Galilee, which he believes to be a holy site.
“This is where my Father in Heaven came from – it’s non-negotiable,” Joshua said of the decision to move his church.
“It’s the best place for you to meet Prophet T.B. Joshua. After your healing, blessing and deliverance, you can move around all the spiritual monuments which will establish your faith,”
Joshua, playing hard on the theme of a prophet not being appreciated in his own country, said that was mostly motivating his move.
“This is the most persecuted ministry in the world. Who are the people persecuting the ministry? My people, Africa.” he continued.
“What happened to me from the beginning of my ministry is enough to chase me out of this country – but I am still in your midst. Upon the persecution and hatred. I decided to follow the path of love.
“You show hatred; I show love. When I go for a revival, you will see the stadium full but I am not carried away by that. I leave where I’m celebrated to live where I’m persecuted.”
