VIDEO: Watch Beautifully Shot Documentary About Jamestown

The heart of the then Gold Coast, Jamestown (British Accra) is a fascinating part of Ghana’s history, and occupies a literal central place in the colonisation and then fight for Independence of Ghana.

The area now remains as the heart of the indigenous Ga peoples, with the King’s Palace situated right at Mantse Agbonaa, across the road from the iconic Lighthouse.

TV3’s Ayerkie Narnor has shot a beautiful, short documentary on the area detailing its history and the numerous landmarks which are situated within its borders.
