Hell of a claim. A Nigerian social media user says Jesus Christ, the saviour of the Christian religion, actually committed suicide.

The user said the saviour’s sacrifice – allowing himself to be crucified on the cross to wipe away the sins of mankind – was actually an act of suicide since he willingly went to his death.

Jaja (@JaJaPHD) tweeted:

If you even think about it, you’ll see that Jesus committed suicide. The bible says that he laid down his life.
