About 200 bonded allied health nurses who have suffered the fate of unemployment for close to two years and resulted in series of picketing at the Ministry Of Health premises have been financially cleared to be employed.
This comes after the group threatened to extend their picketing from the ministry to the flagstaff house.
Daily Graphic reported Solomon Yeboah, President of the coalition of un-posted allied health professionals to have said on Radio Ghana that “We have petitioned the Flagstaff House, the Senior minister, and the Gender Minster, our next move is to picket in front of the Flagstaff House,”
Following this, The Ministry of Finance has issued a financial clearance to pave way for the aggrieved allied health workers to be employed so as to also end their picketing.
Tina Mensah, The Deputy Health Minister, made the announcement Tuesday evening.
