Seemingly repentant Shatta Wale after all bashing says awards are prestigious and helps one to be remembered for the great things the recipient has done.

He said this on the back of openly showing interest in the VGMAs and revealed that he is in a process of smoking the peace pipe with Charter House.

Shatta Wale was also asked to name to his top 5 Ghanaian Dancehall acts and with no hesitation placed himself as the number one. He said he could have won Artiste Of The Year for five consecutive years should he have been involved in the scheme.

But with a list without himself, Shatta mentioned his allies Captan and Addiself who are all on his taking over monster hit as number one and two. Continuing the list, he mentioned Jupitar as number three and Stonebwoy as his fourth best.

Samini wasn’t out from Shatta’s list when he mentioned him as number 5. Talking about Samini, he revealed that their beef caused them to lose a huge sum of money as he couldn’t come to an agreement with Samini.

According to Shatta beef is good for the industry but it should be planned so as to reach desired business results. He revealed his beef with Yaa Pono was planned. “With beefs, I feel we should put things on the table and plan … even with my recent beef with Yaa Pono. I called him personally and told him how things should go but people think I thrive off controversies” he said.

George Quaye also asked Shatta Wale to choose between MzVee and Kaakie and Wale picked MzVee.

The lengthy conversation between Shatta Wale and George Quaye which was intended to be a media interaction prep for Ghana Meets Naija has seen Shatta Wale also revealing that he is interested in being a global icon than a local champion and he is working on that.
