The 7th Edition of Ghana Meets Naija music concert went down Saturday night and Shatta Wale with his overwhelming crowd-moving performance was seated on the throne.

Shatta even said he’s been consistent for 5 years on the concert and if it should have been VGMAs, that means he would have won Artiste Of The Year for “Five F*cking Times”.

Other acts on the bill were on stage and did their best from King Promise to Article Wan and even to female rapper Eno who came on stage in a coffin only to get critiques condemning her swimsuit costume.

Tantamount to less is actually said about Falz, Tiwa Savage and Davido but certainly the Nigerian folks didn’t do bad considering it being an away game for them. If you can’t remember Davido’s performance at all, you’ll certainly remember Tiwa and her dancers.

However, of all the performances, one that has also gotten everyone talking BUT with a divided opinion is that of the godMC.

M.anifest came on stage with his lyrical prowess but left his stagecraft which was supposed to actively engage the audience. It well appeared the crowd rather enjoyed M.anifest’s performance in silence as few were seen being moved to sing along or stand with him.

Yet at the sum of it, he left everyone talking about his lyrical dexterity as he performed with a live band set, making him the best vocally heard of the night and that’s the good.

The bad is that others tagged him as boring and this has generated a debate on social media with some saying he was performing to the wrong crowd.
