Becca Takes Her “Menstrual Hygiene” to Over 1000 Students in Kumasi + PHOTOS

Ghanaian musician-Becca has taken her ‘Menstrual Hygiene” education took Kumasi–where she educated over 1000 students on Friday, 26th May, 2017 at the Jubilee Park.

The Becca Hearts Foundation together with “Touching the Lives of Girls Foundation International” have partnered to put together this initiative with a mutual aim to educate girls on female hygiene (hygienic menstrual practices).

Among the Eighteen(18) schools in celebration of world family hygiene day in Kumasi were; Ideal college, Afia Ampem Senior high school, Yaa Asantewaa Senior High School, St. Louis Senior High School, St. Louis College of Education, St. Augustine’s Primary, Asem Islamic Primary, St Peters Primary, among many others.

The day recorded over 1000 students who were presented with over 2000 Royal Lady sanitary pads, over 2000 posters on feminine hygiene (Presented to Ghana Education Service for distribution to all SHS & JHS) and many other goodies.

The project is supported by Zylofon media, Ministry Of Education, Ghana Education Service, Royal Lady Sanitary pad, Perla water etc…
