The lynching of army captain Maxwell Mahama continues to dominate the discussion in the country, with the latest update claiming the assemblyman at the centre of it all has been grabbed.

The assemblyman who was allegedly at the centre of the lynching of the soldier – reports claim he organised the mob – has reportedly been grabbed.

Photos circulating on social media shows a man reported to be the assemblyman found in his house, which was found full of ammunition.

According to the photos, he was found hiding under his bed – another photo shows him brutalised.

At the moment, it hasn’t been confirmed if the man grabbed is indeed the assemblyman, beyond a few posts on social media.

It’s crucial that people not brutalise anyone just in the rush for revenge, otherwise you become that which you purport to condemn.
