The Assemblyman wanted by police in connection with the lynching of a military officer has turned himself in.

According to reports, William Baah surrendered to authorities in the Denkyira-Obuasi Wednesday, a few hours after he had been declared wanted.

Baah is the assemblyman implicated in the lynching of Captain Mahama – he is alleged to have gathered the mob which killed the officer.

He was declared a wanted man earlier today and was thought to be on the run, but has now turned himself in.

Baah is being transferred to Cape Coast to join other arrested suspects so far for interrogation.
