A businesswoman has been arrested by police in the Ashanti Region on suspicion of employing an assassin to take out her business partner.
Joyce Antwi, 41, allegedly paid the ‘assassin’ Ghc 5,000 to take out her partner.
According to Starrfmonline, Joyce, who deals in plywood, took a loan of Ghc 99,000 from her partner in 2015 to help fund her business.
Joyce failed to pay the money back for two years, and earlier this year, her partner gave her a deadline of June to pay back the money, which she agreed to.
However, she then contracted the ‘assassin’ for Ghc 5,000 to kill her friend so she would not have to pay back the money. She paid Ghc 2,500 and promised to pay back the rest when the job was done.
Unfortunately for her, the one she paid to kill her partner informed the police, who grabbed her.
