George and wife Amal Clooney have welcomed a pair of twin children – a boy and a girl.

Ella and Alexander Clooney arrived earlier today.

“This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives.” a statement from the couple’s rep said, before wittingly adding:

“Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days.”

The couple met in 2013, got married in 2014 and three years later, have received the ultimate blessing.
