God Killed 20 At Kintampo Water Falls – Catherine Afeku Tells Parliament

Ghana was hit with a tragedy on March 19th, when a tree at the Kintampo Water falls fell on students who were at the site for tourism from which 20 lives were claimed. 

A fact finding committee was set to investigate the disaster and per the committee’s reports as presented by Minister Of Tourism, Arts and Culture to Parliament, God is to blame for the innocent lives lost. Hon. Catherine Afeku who doubles as the MP for Evalue-Gwira Constituency in the Western Region, also denied NPP invincible forces were managing the tourist site before the incident happened when she was questioned on the floor by Odododiodio MP, Hon. Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye about the wisdom sickening report she defiantly read to the 21st century educated MPs.

The Safety Audit team has completed and submitted a report on Kintampo Water Falls to the Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture. Mr. Speaker, the report concluded that although this was an act of God, a number of causes were identified as being instrumental to the accident“. She confidently told Parliament.

According to Gh One news, Catherine Afeku further added that “poor environmental management factors and impact of encroachers in the area has exposed the soil to major erosion and makes trees weak and vulnerable”
