An Algerian man has been jailed in his country for endangering the life of a child.

The man posted a photo on Facebook of himself holding the baby out of a 15th floor window and threatening to drop him unless he got 1,000 likes. 

“1,000 likes or I will drop him.” he captioned the photo.

A judge in Algiers jailed the man after police arrested him and arraigned him.

He was charged with endangering the baby’s safety.
