
Seized assets of the jailed drug baron, Nayele Ametefe, has been donated by officials of the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB), to various rehab centres in the country.
The items, including expensive furniture worth thousands of cedis, were donated to three rehab centres by the narcotics combating agency
Nayele’s items were seized following a ruling by a court in Accra.
The drug baroness rose to national attention a few years ago after she was arrested with 12kg of cocaine at London’s Heathrow Airport.
She was later sentenced to an eight year jail term.
Other confiscated items of hers were also donated to orphanages by NACOB.
