Capital Xtra’s DJ Abrantee has anointed Ghanaian rapper M.anifest as the future of Afrobeats music.

Abrantee interviewed the ‘God MC’ on his show and completely gushed out over M.anifest.

“The future I believe and I’ll say this and you can quote me on that,  The future (of Afrobeats) is M.anifest.” Abrantee said.

M.anifest was on to promote his recent single, ‘Do My Own’, which featured bigBen.

M.anifest, for his part, called on Ghanaian artists to shun hypocrisy and be real about the challenges they’re facing, and the level their music is at.

“We should really embrace the challenges we have instead of pretending.” the rapper born Kwame Tsikata said.

“We shouldn’t be out here pretending that we are playing on levels we’re not. There are so many levels to scale so we should be real about it, get our hands dirty and get to the grind.” he added.

M.anifest is currently on a roll, having recently appeared at the Midem festival in Cannes as the only Ghanaian representative, which then led to an appearance on the BBC’s Global Beats program. Aside DJ Abrantee, Ghana’s legendary Obrafour himself recently showered his own level of praise on the ‘God MC’.
