H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has left the shores of Ghana for an official duty to represent Ghana at the 29th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union, which will happen in Ethiopia.
The President was accompanied by the First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, and other officials at the Presidency.
The Addis Abba meeting which will gather Heads of A.U member States is themed, “Harnessing the Demographic Dividend through Investment in the Youth”.

Via KasapaFmOnline, the meeting will cover issues like
“institutional reforms of the AU; roadmap of practical steps to silence guns in Africa by 2020; the Continental Free Trade Area (CFTA); and the implementation of Agenda 2063 – “The strategic framework for the socio-economic transformation of the continent over the next 50 years”.
The meeting is scheduled to happen from July 3 to July 4, 2017, and the President with his entourage as expected to be home by Tuesday.
