A 29 year old man has been arrested by police in the Western Region after his attempt to sell his own infant daughter for Ghc 5,000 was foiled.
The man, identified only as Sule, was picked up by police after he arranged to meet a buyer for the child.
According to adomonline, Sule had been married for the past three and a half years, but for some reason decided to sell his most recently born daughter.
Police are still investigating, and are looking into whether the mother was an accomplice to the attempted crime as well.
