A video circulating on social media which was captured at this year’s Bakatue Festival in Elmina shows the Omanhene of Elmina jamming to Shatta Wale’s ‘Taking Over.’
In the video, the Chief of Elmina is seen asking his traditional drummers to pause for a few minutes, so he can dance to ‘Taking Over.”
From the way the Chief jammed to the song, it seems he’s a fan of Gbee Naabu.
Seated in his palanquin and throwing his hands to the rhythm of the song,  the Chief’s moves got the crowd which had gathered super excited.
The Bakatue festival is celebrated by the people of Elmina in the Central Region of Ghana.
