Rapper Kwame Asare Obeng, aka A Plus, has denied reports claiming he does not believe in God but completely denounces religion, claiming it has caused more harm than good to the human race.
A Plus in a tirade on Facebook said he believes there is a God, but not the one who allegedly created Adam and Eve who were then deceived by a snake.
He said those were fake stories created by others to control people and steal their monies.
“My notice has been drawn to a publication about some Ghanaians who don’t believe in God which includes me. How? Let me make this very clear. Not being religious is totally different from not believing in God. People have created their own fake Adam and Eve and snake story around God to manipulate people and take their money,” the always controversial Plus wrote.
“You choose what to believe, I respect that. This is A free world. Just believe. As for me, I am not religious. Religion to me is the worse thing that happened to the world but There is A God!!!.” he added.
It’s easy for Ghanaians to categorise criticising religion as being non-religious, which is something that often happens to Mzbel as well.
