A US newlywed found herself spending parts of her wedding night in jail after she pulled a gun on her husband and fired it during a drunken argument.
Kate Prichard got married to James Burton in the afternoon, but she found herself in jail later that night.
According to the New York Daily News, Prichard had a gun hidden in her wedding dress (only God knows why), and pulled it out at her husband at an inn where they had gone to celebrate their marriage and commence their honeymoon.
Witnesses told Police that the couple had been drinking and arguing, and that at a point the woman drew the weapon from her wedding dress, pointed it at her husband and fired!
Luckily, there were no bullets in the gun.
Prichard was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault for the incident, but made bail in the sum of $15,000.
Investigations are still ongoing.
