A US based Ghanaian who came back to Ghana for a tourist trip unfortunately died after he drowned at the Boti Falls.
Jeremiah Bediako died Tuesday, reportedly during an attempt to save another individual who was drowning.
According to reports, the Ghanaian and some friends from the United States visited the popular tourist site in the Eastern Region to have some fun, but things turned sour when one of Bediako’s US friends got in trouble with the falls.
Bediako dived in to save his friend, which he was able to do. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to make it himself.
Since drowning on Tuesday, Bediako’s body has not been recovered, although rescue efforts continue day by day.
