Following the team’s recent accident, Kumawood stars Lil Win and Akrobeto visited the squad to donate some items to them.
The two funnymen presented items including mineral water, sodas and an unspecified amount of money to the playing body of the team.
Asante Kotoko players were in a harrowing accident weeks ago whilst returning to Kumasi following a Premier League match in Accra. Coach Steve Pollack and team manager Godwin Ablordey sustained the most injuries, whilst the team’s equipment officer unfortunately lost his life.
Lil Win’s donation come as no surprise as he’s ratcheted up his philanthropy in recent days, including donating items to gospel singer Seth Frimpong.
