Highlife star Sister Afia has ranked Shatta Wale as the best Gh star out there, way above Stonebwoy and Sarkodie.
Sister Afia told Accra Fm in an interview that in comparisons between Stonebwoy and Sarkodie, she would put Sark above.
However, between Sarkodie and her ‘daddy’ Shatta Wale, she would go for the ‘dancehall king’ all day long.
“Both (Stone & Sark) are good in their own way. Stonebwoy is good. Sarkodie is also good. But I think I will pick Sarkodie because he has been in there longer than Stonebwoy. He is more experienced.” she told Nana Romeo on AyekooAyekoo.
“With the Sarkodie and Shatta Wale comparison, of course I will pick my Daddy Shata Wale.” Afia added.
The songstress, who has collaborated with Shatta in the past, also touched on the impact female musicians are making in the country and what impact she plans to make herself.
“I know they (female artists) are doing extremely well. It is not easy but we are trying. I will urge the female artistes to do whatever they have to do because we have been suppressed for far too long.”
She added: “For me I am going to take music far. Very soon, I am going to perform at the Ghana meets Naija in the United Kingdom.”
