Ellias Ewusi Essel known as Donzy in showbizness circles says not all the songs done by the veteran artistes make sense.
In an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM with KMJ, he maintained the stance that not all the songs done by this generation is senseless and that school of thought does not sit well with him.
According to him, the style 0f doing music, irrespective of the genre has shifted, hence the need for Ghanaian artistes to move with the flow— adding that even music done today in the USA is not the same as the time of the 2Pac Shakur’s.
“The trend of music in Ghana has changed and people need to accept this fact. Even in America, things are not the way they used to be in the days of 2Pac Shakur.”
“I hear people say that [songs of] artistes of this generation don’t make sense [but] some of the ‘oldies’ don’t make sense as well,”
He says he wants to be branded as one of the artistes in Ghana with thought provoking songs.
