Nigeria’s content regulator, the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), has banned five hugely popular songs in the country for flouting some regulations.
These includes the remix to Davido’s mega hit ‘If’, plus another of his singles, ‘Fall’.
Songs by Olamide and 9ice have also fallen victim to the ban.
A list was released by the NBC listing the five songs – Olamide‘s ‘Wo’ and ‘Wavy Level’, Davido‘s ‘Fall’ and ‘If (Remix)’, and 9ice‘s ‘Living Things.’
No official reason has been given for the bans so far.
