D Black, a Ghanaian Rapper cum Entrepreneur who is always under scrutiny for being a whack rapper says his concern is not to be a lyricist but just to produce commercial songs.
According to Desmond Blackmore, he is not bothered about the criticism at all so far as he manages to produce countless hit tracks that get people dancing.

D Black who’s been doing music for 7 years now had a conversation with Delay on the Delay Show where he answered questions to being a whack rapper or not.

He said “I’m not a lyricist, don’t compare me to Sarkodie, I don’t do what they do, Sarkodie is an amazing lyricist, I’m a businessman, I’m an entertainer, I’ll make music, you dance to it and I get paid”
The Black Avenue Music Boss added that nevertheless he’s been to the BETs and other international award schemes with his music but he still takes those criticisms just like how even Jay Z and Micheal Jackson are also criticized.
