Once upon a time Mzbel was the ‘baddest girl’ in Gh music, with skimpy dressing and erotic lyrics all of which launched her career.
These days, the actress says she has changed and regrets that portion of her career, which she said happened because she was young and was not getting good advice from her handlers.
During an interview on Joy Fm, Mzbel talked about that portion of her past, when all she did was show skin and put on erotic shows.
“I was just having fun being myself. I was comfortable. No one around me ever said that what I was doing was wrong.” she said.
“They will criticize me on radio and TV [for my dressing] but then when there is a show with my name on…it is packed.”
According to her, that ‘image’ has followed her since and put her in a certain category and she believes it has had a bad effect on her career.
Despite all that, the ’16 Years’ hitmaker says she does not regret the past as she has learned from it.
