The case of the century featuring Afia Schwarzenegger and Lawrence Abrokwah would (hopefully) commence next Monday, September 25.
The case has so far been hit with multiple delays, with the latest adjournment occurring Wednesday, September 20, at the last court date.
The case stems from the recent n*de video scandal which sprung out of their marriage. Afia Schwarzenegger was found in bed by her husband with another man, and he filmed the encounter, also threatening her with a liquid in a bottle which he claimed to be acid.
The video later leaked and Afia reported the case to police, leading to the arrest of Abrokwah and being arraigned before court. He has been charged with assault, threat of harm and publication of obscene material.
The case has so far been hit with multiple adjournments, with reports indicating that it’s due to Abrokwah attempting to broker an out of court settlement.
Case returns on September 25.
