Afia Schwarzenegger and husband Lawrence Abrokwah made their first court date today (Monday) and Abrokwah has been granted bail.
The estranged partner of Afia received bail in the sum of Ghc 20,000 with two sureties.
Lawrence Abrokwah is standing trial for circulating obscene material, emotional, verbal and psychological abuse, assault and threat of harm – in relation to the leak of a n*de Afia Schwarzenegger tape and what transpired in the tape.
Abrokwah’s lawyer, Maurice Ampaw, requested bail immediately the case was called, which was granted by the trial judge.
The judge also warned the couple to stop talking about their issues in the media, and adjourned the case to October 11, 2017.
