B. Sasore’s Nollywood Movie ‘Banana Island Ghost’ To Be Premiered In The UK — Followed By Theatrical Release In Selected UK Cinemas

Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G), a Nollywood movie written and directed by BB Sasore is set to receive a grand UK red carpet premiere in London—followed by a theatrical release in selected UK Cinemas.
The movie which stars a tall list of African movie stars, including; Chioma ‘Chigul’ Omeruah, Patrick Diabuah, Tomiwa Edun (Merlin and FIFA 17), Ali Nuhu, Bimbo Manuel, Saidi Balogun and others will be premiered at London’s Greenwich Odeon, Bugsby Way, London SE10 0QJ on Friday, October 20. The movie has enjoyed huge reception and success locally, topping box office sales in Nigeria.
Speaking about the UK release, Executive Producer – Biola Alabi said, “Looking at how much success Banana Island Ghost has had locally, and the clamour for it abroad, it only made sense for us to bring the movie to an eager audience here in the UK.”
Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G) is a film about a ghost that is scared to go to heaven because he doesn’t have a soulmate. He successfully convinces God to give him three days to fall in love. He is paired with the cantankerous firecracker – Ijeoma, played by Chigul – who will do anything to save her father’s house in Banana Island from the bank coming to reclaim it in three days.
A week after the grand red carpet premiere, Friday, October 27, B.I.G will be released at the following selected Cinemas in the UK;
