Host of the GhOne TV’s telenovela chat show for ‘Revenge’, AJ Sarpong, has departed the Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) network.
Sarpong is moving on to new challenges at Omni Media Limited, owners of Citi Fm and its partner stations.
The move has reportedly been in the making for a while now, and Sarpong herself has described it as a search for a ‘new beginning’.
Sarpong is expected to join the Citi Breakfast Show team with Bernard Avle and Richard Skye. She’s also expected to have her own show to host on a soon to be launched TV station owned by Omni Media.
Sarpong, during her time at EIB, worked on numerous shows across GhOne TV and Live Fm, including the aforementioned chat show, The Zone with Naa Ashorkor, Tales From the Powder Room, among others.
