Ghana’s King Of Comedy Title Isn’t Self-Acclaimed — DKB Emphasizes

Comedian DKB wants to sound it clear and loud to all those interested that the “King Of Comedy” title is not self-acclaimed as people are purporting it to be.
He says he was bestowed with that honour by KSM himself in 2014 when he was retiring from comedy.
According to the Ga comedian, Kwaku Sintim Misa invited him on a show and after the interview conferred the title on him saying that he finds no one more capable of the spot and deserving of the title than him.
“Ghana’s King of Comedy isn’t self-acclaimed… I don’t know where this whole argument of DKB’s self-acclaiming King of Comedy started from. It was way back 2014 when KSM invited me to his show and after interviewing me, the next thing he did was, he’s about to retire and he feels I’m the next capable person to handle the title.” DKB said.
He added that Lil Win is no stand-up comedian hence cannot earn such. He says he sees him as a comic actor so the best person to confer any title to him will be Agya Koo.
“I don’t know for some funny reason, people have found it so difficult to accept… KSM did stand-up comedy and he handed over to me in my capacity as Stand-up comedian and Lil Win is Comic acting so he should look up to Agya Koo handing over to him as King of Comic acting because we can’t cross kingdoms,” DKB told Mikki Osei Berko on ‘After Hours’ show on TV3.
