'Comparison Is The Thief Of All Joy' — Benedicta Gafah Cautions Against Looking At Other People's Lives To Judge Your Own

Kumawood actress Benedicta Gafah have cautioned followers not to look at the lives of other people and based on that, declare their own lives as unfulfilling.
Writing on Instagram, the actress said ‘comparison is the thief of all joy’ – and we couldn’t agree more.
In this increasingly digital world, where people spend more time online than they spend with each other, everyone is building their own digital world which often is very far from the reality on the ground.
Even celebrities are embellishing their lives on social media, not to talk of the ‘common floor member.’ Therefore looking at someone’s seemingly perfect life and feeling bad for yourself is not a smart thing to do.
And that’s exactly what Gafah is warning against.
“Stop comparing yourself to others,comparison is the thief of all joy,it will only make you bitter,jealous,resentful and non productive??, the person you are comparing your life to thinking he/she is living a better life,who knows yours might even be better and peaceful than theirs.” she wrote.
