Celebrating Natural Hair–Several Young Ghanaian Women Share PHOTOS And The Reasons Why They Went Natural

The dust of the natural hair movement has settled and while there’s more acceptance of this hairstyle in our social circles, the workplace or corporate world continues to struggle with it.
A few days ago, a young woman wrote about how she was asked to leave work because of her Afro hair and that’s not a case in isolation. We’ve heard enough of such stories to reasonably conclude that the workplace struggles to accept what’s become part of many young black women–natural hair.
Over the last 48 hours, several Ghanaian natural hair rockers have been sharing their reasons for going natural and photos–in celebrating NATURAL HAIR via #Celebratingnaturalistas.
Though it seems that the corporate world has not fully accepted natural hair or it’s presented at work, that has not STOPPED some these girls from proudly rocking it.
