Counsellor George Lutterodt caused quite the stir a few days ago when out of nowhere he hit out at some gospel musicians, tagging them as irrelevant and just adding to the numbers.
Nicholas Omane Achaempong, Cwesi Oteng and SP Kofi Sarpong are three of the artists who felt the sharp end of Lutterodt’s tongue, and one of them has already hit back.
Now the manager of SP Kofi Sarpong, Kwesi Ennin, has also hit back and he’s furious. According to him, Lutterodt claims to be a counsellor but he doesn’t do even the basic function of the job which is to solve problems.
He said instead, all he does is say stuff to get him trending in the headlines, aka he’s an attention seeking wh*re.
Said Kwesi Ennin: “It doesn’t make any sense… We also think he’s also wasting his time. Anybody who claims to be a counsellor brings peace, heals wounds, proffer solutions to problems; not a person who wakes up one morning and attacks personalities in the name of making headlines. He should go and find out the meaning of a counsellor… If you do this, you don’t have my respect”
Making his case on Daybreak Hitz, Ennin added.
“The way Counselor Lutterodt speaks, if you are not careful, you’ll descend into the gutters with him. If he thinks he’s come of age and is not even adding up to the number of counsellors we have in Ghana, he should try go and book National Theatre and see if he could fill only the front seat. Then he can come back and say someone who has been a musician for over ten years, Kofi Sarpong who has filled National Theatre is adding to the numbers,”
