A group of people burgled the official residence of the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bole, Madam Alele Veronica Heming, and strangely made off with some unconventional items.
Thieves that make off with panties and soap and chop food in the house they are stealing from – are those ones too thieves?
It sounds pretty unbelievable but that’s what happened in Bole Thursday when the residence of their DCE was burgled.

The official residence of the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bole, Madam Alele Veronica Heming was on Thursday afternoon burgled by some unscrupulous persons.
The suspected criminals broke into the house through the back window while she was at the office according to police investigators, ransacked rooms in the house and later made away with her towel, panties, bathing soap, sponge and other items.
It is gathered that loaves of bread and stew prepared by the DCE were consumed by the thieves who it is rumored may have stolen the items for ritual purposes

When reached on phone, Madam Alele Veronica confirmed the burglary to mynewsgh.com but said she could not disclose exactly what had been stolen from her residence but said the police are currently investigating the matter.
“I am unable to tell what has been stolen but it is true my home has been burgled. My day watchman has been arrested by the police and assisting in investigations”, she confirmed
