'Nana Akufo-Addo Is Not Your Co-Equal' — Diamond Appiah Blasts Ex-Prez Mahama For 'Pigs' Comment

1 min

Diamond Appiah has punched back at former President John Dramani Mahama following the release of a video showing him comparing the current President and his appointees to the pig leaders in George Orwell’s seminal work ‘Animal Farm’.
Writing through her favourite punching tool Facebook, Diamond dressed down the former leader with the combination of invective and vitriol we’ve come to expect from her.
According to Diamond, Mahama only became President of the land through a ‘mistake’ following the suspicious death of former President Mills. She branded him a thief who stole the 2012 elections with his ‘bunch of thieves’ and said he has no locus to criticize someone like Akufo-Addo who is not his ‘co-equal’.
The former President has been heavily criticized following a speech last weekend in which he seemingly compared Akufo-Add0 and his appointees to pigs, although the NDC has maintained that the full context of the speech shows the President was making a metaphorical comparison.
