Allegations of s*xual assault against prominent Hollywood names has snowballed ever since director Harvey Weinstein was accused by multiple women.
Since then, star after star have been embarrassed with allegations against them, including ‘House of Cards’ star Kevin Spacey and comedian Louis C.K.
The latest actor to be tarnished with allegations is action star Steven Seagal. Actress Portia de Rossi, who is married to comedian Ellen, says Seagal s*xually assaulted her during an audition.
De Rossi did not state in which year the incident happened, but merely recounted it on twitter.
“My final audition for a Steven Segal movie took place in his office. He told me how important it was to have chemistry off-screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather pants. Iran out and called my agent. Unfazed, she replied, “well, I didn’t know if he was your type.” she wrote.
Ellen, who has been married to the actress for the past nine years, retweeted the tweet and simply stated: “I am proud of my wife”.
Seagal is yet to respond to the allegations.
