Ghana’s rap icon has drawn the lines between himself and other popular acts like Wizkid, R2Bees, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale and we hope Mark Okraku Mantey doesn’t pop up to disagree with him.
According to Sarkodie who turned a Music Professor cum Brands Coach briefly at the launch of this year’s Rapperholic concert, he is NOT an Afropop artiste.
In his lecture, he also hinted that the strength of some artistes like Shatta Wale is to thrive on creating monster hits to stay relevant which he sure knows how to use that formula.
The 2017 Rapperholic concert is slated for Christmas Day and it will happen at the Accra International Conference Center.
