Legendary rapper Obrafour has debunked rumours that he has a problem with Sarkodie, saying that he made Sark’s career so he cannot get into a ‘beef’ with him.
Obrafour, speaking on Hitz Fm, said that just as how God brought Jesus Christ into the world, he (Obrafour) brought Sarkodie into the limelight.
The issue is with Obrafour’s recent single ‘Kasahari’, which analysts say its a dig at Sarkodie. But he told Andy Dosty that it’s not and those saying that are being mischievous.
“I see those things are distractions. I don’t know why people think that I am the author of the song so I conceived that concept. If there is any confusion somewhere I thought they will come to me to ask. The mischief is always too much. I think people don’t understand me…” he maintained.
“The lyrics in the ‘Kasahari’ song praised Sarkodie; it wasn’t meant to diminish his career…” he continued.
“I said that because of Sarkodie’s association with me, he has been exposed by Kasahari. I am not sounding blasphemous but as Jesus Christ was revealed by God, I did same for Sarkodie through Kasahari…” he added.
