The Egyptian lawyer who claimed that women who wear jeans deserve to be jailed has been jailed in his home country for the comments.
Nabih al-Wahsh received a 3 year jail sentence and a fine of 20,000 Egyptian pounds (£839; $1,130).
The lawyer made worldwide news a few weeks ago when he said that ladies who wear jeans should be raped.
“Are you happy when you see a girl walking down the street with half of her behind showing?” he said.
“I say that when a girl walks about like that, it is a patriotic duty to sexually harass her and a national duty to rape her.” he added.
