President Nana Akufo-Addo Named In List Of Most Influential African Leaders


President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been named among a list of the most influential leaders on the continent.
The New Africa Magazine annual list of 100 Most Influential Africans has been released for 2017 and Akufo-Addo is one of three national leaders named.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo made the list alongside Rwanda’s Paul Kagame and Guinea’s Alpha Conde. Nigeria’s Veep Yemi Osibanjo also made the list for his caretaker role as Nigerian President whilst Muhammadu Buhari was on medical leave.
Other Ghanaians on the list included the first black editor of British Vogue Edward Kobina Enninful and model Adwoa Aboah.
Aliko Dangote, Anthony Joshua and novellist Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie were just 3 of 21 Nigerians in the list.
This year’s list contained 42 females out of the 100 most influential Africans.
